The Battle of Baton Rouge 1779 Foundation is dedicated to preserving and commemorating the history of this significant event in American and Spanish colonial history. Our mission is to educate the public, honor those who fought, and promote historical tourism through reenactments, events, and educational programming.

The Granaderos y Damas de Galvez is an international non-profit organization dedicated to informing and educating the public on the role of Spain in the success of the American Revolution and to perpetuate the memory of Bernardo de Gálvez and the soldiers who fought alongside him.
Membership in the organization is open to anyone 18 years of age or older who is interested in preserving and promoting our mission.
Our dues are $25 per year.
